Summer '17 has got to be one of our favourite seasons in the history of So Susan! The trends this year are righttt up our street - glossy, dewy, healthy skin...yes please! So we decided to jet off to paradise to shoot a very special campaign, on the island of Koh Samui, Thailand. This beautiful island reaches highs of 40 degrees (and a highly drowning rain storm at one point, we must admit)!
Our private swimming pool and surroundings of palm trees, blue seas and white sand made the perfect location for our summer shoot. While our team creative, Gemma filmed beautiful video shots of our model wearing an array of our new launches, we had another member of our team snapping up lots of behind the scenes shots for you to enjoy!
We filmed a total of three looks for our campaign - one dominated by a beautiful bold red lip, a bronzed goddess look and the third with tropical blue eyes, complimented by a hot pink lip.
So far we have revealed look one, where our model wears the new Cashmere Matte in 'Cardinal'. Delivering creamy color with an opaque, mousse-like finish. Coming very soon to sosusan.com. You can watch this first video on our YouTube channel right here. Leave us a comment too - we'd love to hear your feedback!
We will leave you now with a series of photos revealing our So Susan team hard at work, bringing you fresh, inspiring content to help you reveal the best version of yourself. Remember...live life passionately, colorfully and doing what you love, always! (Words by the lovely Susan herself)
Our makeup artist, Madeline Dorey on set applying model's makeup for the tropical pool look! Go and admire Maddie's talents on Instagram at @madelinemua_
It's important to be style savvy in front and behind the camera, ya know! 😏 Our Social Media Manager, Gemma preparing for the bronzed goddess film. And can you spot the fresh coconut beside our model? We lived off those the entire week!
Our model, Emma is also talented in makeup artistry. Follow her on Instagram at @_emua_
Happiness and laughter is our motivation on set. "Laughter is important, not only because it makes us happy, it also has actual health benefits. And that's because laughter completely engages the body and releases the mind. It connects us to others, and that in itself has a healing effect." - Marlo Thomas
Getting that sleek wet hair on fleek!
